Dog rehabilitation

What is dog rehabilitation?

Dog rehabilitation is an activity that provides solutions for dogs and their owners who struggle with various behavioral disorders or other problems affecting the dog's social life.

If you feel that your dog exhibits any of the following unwanted behaviors, they may need rehabilitation.

Common unwanted behaviors:

  • Aggressive behavior on leash or at the dog park
  • Fear of noises (e.g., fireworks, loud cars)
  • Urinating or crying when left home alone

The key is persistence, as in some cases rehabilitation is a long process. But chin up! By reaching out to us, you're already taking the first step towards a calm life with your dog!

Training process

How do we work?

After you contact us, we will reach out to you within 1-2 days to schedule a personal consultation.

During the personal consultation, you can expect our trainers to ask many questions about your dog and about you, so we can fully understand where the problem might originate. This is necessary because every case is different.

From the meeting, we will send you off with a first homework assignment, which will be tailored specifically to solving your problem.

From this point, the rehabilitation begins. For dogs requiring further treatment, depending on what the specific case demands, we will schedule recurring sessions with you and strive for the earliest possible "recovery."

Results

What results can you expect?

If we work together persistently, over time we can reach "recovery." In some cases, this is achieved in just a few sessions, but sometimes longer-term work is needed.

In general, we strive to achieve improvement in your dog from session to session by following the individual homework assignments, but we also need you for this, as you will be the one practicing the exercises with your dog.
